Cutting and Patching Simple Saver System Fabric

Cutting the fabric to attach rafter angles or clips is permissible as long as the cut does not exceed the size of the brace that is to be attached.

No cuts should extend to the rafter.

If the fabric was cut and the cut is no larger than a man’s fist, that would also be permissible to maintain fall protection certification.

All cuts should be patched; this will keep the integrity of the vapor barrier intact.
