Maximum Efficiency

Both the heating and cooling aspects of these appliances are designed for optimal efficiency. The all-electric heating elements provide up to 69,000 BTU/hr of clean heat to meet your heating demands. The efficiency of the cooling compressor depends upon the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating, or SEER. The higher the SEER, the more efficient the cooling equipment runs. We offer and extremely efficient 14 and 16 SEER condenser on all standard models. The standard cooling capacity of the EnergyCraft™ Cooling Appliances is approximately 55,000 BTU/hr and cools at 14 or 16 BTU/watt of electricity used.

Ease of Installation

Our all-electric HVAC appliances are made for fast and simple installation and provide effective control of the interior environment. They simply plug in and run. Ideal installation should total less than three hours. Simple unpack the unit, position the appliance, and secure it in place. Plug the appliance into a suitable receptacle, run the condensate line and begin using the appliance. These units require 230 volt receptacles and may be hardwired by removing the cords and plugs. Check with applicable codes and regulations that apply to your project.

Horizontal Wall Mount Appliance
The EnergyCraft Horizontal Heating Appliances are typically installed approximately nine feet above the floor. They may be ducted locally to provide heat to multiple rooms. The wall mount design allows for easy outside air intake to meet fresh air requirements (fresh air kit available) and the elevated position gives wide air distribution into the space for rotation and circulation by the ceiling fans. A template is provided for quickly locating the PVC exhaust pipe hole. A washable reusable filter collects dust or specialized high-efficiency filters are available from local hardware stores. The appliance comes with the a thermostat and extra wire for relocating if desired.

Air Flow
Optional air intake kits are adjustable for up to 20% heater fan CFM for a healthy fresh air exchange. Powered exhaust fans must match intake air to balance the air pressure with the exterior. Proper design keeps humidity out of the roof and wall insulation cavities, and helps prevent condensation and needless energy loss.

Heat Pump
Heat pump models that operate even more efficiently in heating mode than straight resistance heating are also available. Heat pumps operate by capturing heat out of the exterior air and releasing it in the inside air. In the cooling mode, valves reverse the process and operate similar to conventional air conditioning appliances.
